Mary obtained her Property and Casualty licenses for N.Y. and N.J. after moving to the Catskill mountains, moving to New York City, earning a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Columbia University, raising two children in RiverVale, N.J., and working for over twenty years as an insurance office manager.
